He is an American Canoe Association certified SUP and river kayaking instructor, wilderness first aid and CPR certified, and a seasoned hiking, snowshoeing, and camping guide.
He also plays mandolin, bass and percussion with the Burque Bombadillos, and can frequently be found tinkering and woodworking in whatever little remaining free time he can find.
